KC NWSL Announces Season Ticket Members to Receive Priority for Challenge Cup Matches

Pricing and timeline communicated today to fans holding
nearly 3,500 seats under deposit

KANSAS CITY (March 22, 2021) – Kansas City NWSL announced today that Season Ticket Members will receive priority for attending the first matches of the team’s Inaugural Season. Attendance for Challenge Cup matches at Legends Field will be reduced to implement health and safety protocols developed with the Wyandotte County Unified Government Health Department.

Prospective Season Ticket Members who have placed seats under deposit will receive an email today with more information regarding ticket prices, timelines, and processes.

Fans who have not yet placed a deposit but would like to reserve a place in line may do so here.

“We are grateful for the tremendous response and support from the community and our fans, as well as the collaboration and partnership with Dr. Greiner and his staff at the health department,” said team Chief Operating Officer Amber Cox, “and we’re hopeful that as we look forward to the regular season, we can welcome more fans.”

Fans who wish to be placed on the waiting list in the event that event capacity increases may do so here.

Kansas City will play a total of four Challenge Cup matches, opening on the road Friday, April 9 against Portland Thorns FC. The first home matches will be Monday, April 26 and Monday, May 3 against the Houston Dash and OL Reign.
