KANSAS CITY (May 7, 2021) – The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced today the national broadcast schedule for the 2021 regular season. Kansas City will be featured nationally in two of its first three games on CBS Sports Network, plus a third game on CBS in June.

The NWSL season opens with the league’s two newest teams, Kansas City and Racing Louisville, facing off on Saturday, May 15 at 4 p.m. CT. That match also marks the league’s 2021 debut on CBS Sports Network. Kansas City’s regular season home debut will be aired exclusively on CBS Sports Network on Wednesday, May 26 at 7 p.m. CT.

Kansas City will be featured on CBS on Sunday, June 20 when they face off against the Portland Thorns, marking the first time the two teams will meet since they clashed in the Challenge Cup opening match on April 9.

With today’s announcement, the NWSL also announced two changes to Kansas City’s scheduled times. The match in Portland on June 20 now kicks off at 3 p.m. CT while the Thorns only appearance in Kansas City, October 10, will now get started at 5:30 p.m. CT.
