Mace was the 2nd overall selection in the 2019 NWSL Draft, but chose to play in Australia and Sweden instead. Returned to the NWSL with the NC Courage in 2020. Joined Kansas City in 2021 as part of a midseason trade. Enjoyed a career-best season in 2022, with over 1,500 minutes played, 4 goals and 2 assists.
After a three-year absence, Mace was called back to the USWNT roster in 2022 and earned 5 caps.
